    Warehouse founder Sir Stephen Tindall looks to be coming in to save the business he started


    The Group's confirmed it's received an approach from Tindall and the Sydney company Adamantem Capital Partners, to acquire all its shares.

    The Warehouse this year dealt with the abrupt departure of its chief executive - and sold its sporting chain, Torpedo7, for a dollar.

    Herald senior business reporter, Madison Reidy, says it's believed Tindall wants The Warehouse to take on supermarkets.

    She says he wants it to go harder, and double down on groceries specifically.
