Football Fern Kate Taylor is keen to keep maturing as a player following her standout Olympic Games

The 20-year-old topped off her Olympic campaign with a screamer of a goal in their 2-1 loss to France in Lyon - building on her three starts in the midfield.

Taylor told Sky Sport she's excited about her involvement with the Ferns...and is already looking forward to the next World Cup and Olympic cycle.

The Football Ferns three group losses mean they're out of the tournament.

The Matildas' woeful Olympic campaign has also ended...the World Cup semi-finalists suffering their earliest Olympics exit since 2000.
