People are rallying in parts of Tairawhiti - looking for five-year-old Kaizer

He went missing from his home in rural Tiniroto yesterday afternoon., and hundreds joined the search last night.

It's resumed today around Tiniroto Road - including specialist teams and dogs.

At this stage, Police are only asking for help from those with search and rescue experience.

Gisborne mayor Rehette Stoltz says everybody is ready to do all they can.

She says the community is concerned, hearts are going out to his whanau and everyone is holding their breath for his safe return.
