Benji Marshall is among the latest inductees into the NRL hall of fame

The former Kiwis halfback and current Tigers coach led Wests Tigers to their first premiership as an amalgamated club in 2005, before steering New Zealand to World Cup victory in 2008.

He joins Queensland's Cameron Smith, Billy Slater, Cooper Cronk, Johnathan Thurston and Greg Inglis - who helped the Maroons win eight straight State of Origin series between 2006 and 2013.

The class is rounded out with Steve Renouf , Benny Elias , Les Boyd, Lionel Morgan and Sam Burgess as the first English international included.

Their formal induction is next Wednesday, with the 14th Immortal also set for a reveal.
