    Balmain Tigers great Ben Elias has spoken of his pride as a league pioneer for the Lebanese community after his invitation into the NRL's hall of fame

    The former hooker, who also represented Australia and New South Wales, is one of 11 new inductees.

    Elias told NRL 360 his introduction to the sport was met with resistance.



    Former Kiwis halfback Benji Marshall's also received the call-up.
