Labour's Deputy Leader's standing by yesterday implying in the House - that Winston Peters is sexist

Labour's Deputy Leader's standing by yesterday implying in the House - that Winston Peters is sexist

Carmel Sepuloni suggested Peters went directly to the Prime Minister in pre-Budget chats, rather than the Finance Minister, because he wanted to talk to a man.

She maintains this when asked today -- saying it's one of many reasons Peters might have gone over Nicola Willis' head.

Deputy Prime Minister Peters, says he'll talk to Sepuloni privately.

He insists there's nothing strange about his conversations with Chris Luxon.
