    Coastguard has resumed its search for a missing fisherman near Auckland

    Coastguard has resumed its search for a missing fisherman near Auckland


    The man had been collecting shellfish at Nine Pin Rock on Friday night, near the entrance to Manukau Harbour when he went into the water and was washed away.

    He was not wearing a lifejacket.

    A Coastguard spokesperson says crews from Papakura and Auckland Air Patrol, have been out today searching for the man.
