Pasifika children are 115 times more likely to be hospitalised with acute rheumatic fever compared to their European peers

Cure Kid's State of Child Health Report has revealed they're more vulnerable to respiratory conditions, skin infections and dental disease.

Maori children are also 46 times more likely to develop these conditions.

Cure Kids Chair of Child Health Research Stuart Dalziel says the solutions to improving their health are clear.

He says it's all about adequate housing, sufficient nutrition and freedom from poverty.
