Christchurch police are visiting properties, including businesses, as part of the ongoing Mount Pleasant homicide inquiry

A woman's body was found at a property on Mount Pleasant Road on Monday afternoon.

A man's appeared in court, charged with murdering her three days earlier.

Inquiries are happening several suburbs away from the woman's home - in an industrial area of Middleton.

Business owners are being asked about CCTV at their properties.
