A chance to stake a claim for the soon-to-be-vacated Silver Ferns goal shoot bib looms at the Fast 5 World Series in Christchurch this weekend

A chance to stake a claim for the soon-to-be-vacated Silver Ferns goal shoot bib looms at the Fast 5 World Series in Christchurch this weekend

Maia Wilson, Martina Salmon and Saviour Tui will shoulder the shooting responsibilities at the tournament for New Zealand.

The trio - along with Amelia Walmsley - are in the running to replace Grace Nweke in 2025 ... after her domestic move to the New South Wales Swifts.

The uncapped Salmon says while she's mindful of the opening - her focus is clear.

The Silver Ferns open their account against Jamaica at 1:15pm.
