    A man has been injured following an assault in South Auckland


    Emergency services were called to Canning Crescent in Mangere shortly before 8.30am.

    A man has been taken to hospital in a serious condition - it was previously reported that he was hit by a car.

    The alleged offenders left the scene in a vehicle and police are in the area trying to find them.
