    The Media and Communications Minister is dampening down speculation - over a delay to the Fair Digital News Bargaining Bill


    The new law would force international tech giants to pay for news content.

    It's scheduled second reading in Parliament today, was delayed, with Paul Goldsmith saying it wasn't ready.

    He says he signalled changes would be necessary - when the bill was originally drafted.

    Goldsmith says he's said all along it's a complex issue, and when the Bill's ready to be returned to the House - it will.
