Eddie Murphy's son Eric Murphy is engaged to Martin Lawrence's daughter Jasmin Lawrence

The 'Boomerang' co-stars' offspring made their romance Instagram official in 2021, and on Saturday (30.11.24), the pair shared a video from the special moment Eric got down on one knee on November 27

Eric, 35, surprised Jasmin, 28, by walking her into a room filled to the brim with candles and roses as they walked along a rose petal aisle before he popped the question in front of a giant heart.

Upon opening the ring box, Jasmin gushed: "It's beautiful. Oh my gosh."

She said "yes" and sealed the deal with a kiss.

In a joint post on Instagram, the loved-up duo wrote: "We're engaged!! God truly blessed us with a love that feels like destiny.

"We couldn't be more excited for this next chapter.

"Special thank you to everyone who made this moment so beautiful!!"

Over summer, proud dad Eddie, 63, was already discussing what the couple's future child will be like if they decide to start a family, insisting they will no doubt be a comedian like their grandfathers.

He said on 'CBS Mornings': "They're both beautiful, they look amazing together.

"And it's funny, everybody's like, 'What is that baby gonna be funny?'"

He continued: "Our gene pool is gonna make this funny baby.

"If they ever get married and have a child, I am expecting the child to be funny."

Eric previously dec lared himself "head over heels in love" with Jasmin.

He wrote: "Head over heels in LOVE with YOU @jasmin_lawrence [heart emojis] #myotherhalf #equallyyoked #iloveyou (sic)"

Eric is Eddie's eldest son with former partner Paulette McNeely, while 'Bad Boys For Life' star Martin, 59, has Jasmin with his ex-wife Patricia Southall.

Eddie has 10 children and previously described them as the "brightest part" of his life.

He quipped: "None of my children are grey and balding...

"The brightest part of my life is my kids. My relationship with them, and my world revolves around them - even the old, grey bald ones."
