    Laurie Daley accepts his appointment as New South Wales State of Origin coach will not be universally popular

    The league great returns to the role he was sacked from in 2017, after a four year reign that earned one series victory over Queensland.

    The Blues have won four of the last seven series since he departed.

    His appointment has already raised eyebrows but Daley says criticism comes with the territory.
