    Chris Hipkins says he's broadly supportive of the changes to Auckland Transport


    AT will lose its right to decide policy, planning and strategy.

    Labour's leader told RNZ that negotiations with Auckland's mayor around this started under the previous Government.

    He says after a bumpy start the last government got on well with Wayne Brown after a brief transition period.
