The Education Minister's released her action plan to deliver Maori students better outcomes

The Education Minister's released her action plan to deliver Maori students better outcomes

Erica Stanford's plan involves a refresh of Te Marautanga o Aotearoa, the curriculum for Maori-medium schools.

She says there's been investment in roll-out of structured literacy in te reo Maori, decodable books and translated pangarau maths resources.

Stanford says the next phase will focus on giving teachers the support and resources to uplift the curriculum.
