Police are treating the death of a man in Porirua as suspicious

A 43-year-old found injured in critical condition at a property in Elsdon's Kotuku Street overnight on Sunday - has since died in hospital.

Police believe there is no wider risk to the public and it's believed those involved were known to each other.

Charges are yet to be laid, and Police are asking anyone with information to come forward.
