One person was arrested on Douglas McLean Avenue in Marewa for allegedly displaying gang insignia and breaching bail conditions.

Three others were also arrested under the gang insignia legislation.

Four others were arrested earlier in the day at the Napier Tech clubrooms for disorder offences.

Police say they will also be following up some instances of traffic offending.

Officers will maintain a visible presence overnight, and across the city tomorrow as attendees leave the area
