    The league-leading Black Knights hammered the Central Coast Mariners 4-1 - coming following a 4-nil loss to Western United a week earlier.

    Coach Steve Corica says they improved in several areas.



    The Phoenix halted a three-match losing streak with a 2-1 home win over Newcastle.
