    The man who died after falling from a car in Napier on Friday night, has been named as 33-year-old Reif Cotter, of Tamatea


    Police believe he'd fallen off a mattress on top of a black station wagon - travelling from the Marewa shops along Nuffield Ave, shortly before nine.

    Cotter died from injuries sustained from the fall.

    Police have seized the vehicle - but are still looking to determine exactly what happened.

    Anyone with information relating to the vehicle, is urged to contact police.
