Naomi Osaka is through to the last eight at the ASB tennis Classic in Auckland

Naomi Osaka is through to the last eight at the ASB tennis Classic in Auckland

The four-time major champion has beaten world number 470 Julia Grabher in straight sets 7-5 6-3.

The match was stopped for a 40 minute rain delay at five-all in the first set and Osaka says that allowed her to reset.

Sofia Kenin and Denmark's Clara Tauson are into a deciding third set.

American Bernarda Pera is through to the quarters with a straight sets triumph over Canada's Rebecca Marino.
