Medicinal cannabis is becoming more widely available, and easier to obtain

Medicinal cannabis is becoming more widely available, and easier to obtain

Latest findings from Massey University's Drugs Trends Survey show a growing number of medicinal cannabis users now report their main source being a clinic or pharmacy.

Many continue to source it from family, friends or drug dealers.

But Associate Professor Marta Rychert says more than one-in-three now have a prescription.

She says this is a surprising jump from just one-in-ten in the previous survey.
