Dunedin Police are appealing for information after an attempted robbery in the North East Valley area

Police say a masked man fled a North Road bar on December 28 in a stolen maroon 1993 Mazda Familia - likely driven by another person.

The car was later found abandoned on Littlebourne Road on New Year's Eve.

Police want to hear from anyone who may have footage or sightings of the Mazda during that time,

    The registration is M-S-N-8-3-1.
