The total value of goods involved in Golriz Ghahraman's alleged shoplifting incident is believed to be less than 150-dollars

The total value of goods involved in Golriz Ghahraman's alleged shoplifting incident is believed to be less than 150-dollars

The incident is alleged to have occurred late last year at a Pak'nSave supermarket in Auckland's Royal Oak.

It has since been revealed the supermarket never reported the incident directly to the police, and she was confronted before she even reached the checkout.

Our newsroom understands police tried introducing the alleged incident into the former Green MP's High Court hearing.

Ghahraman has not responded to requests for comment.
