State Highway 1 at Karapiro, south of Cambridge is set to close

State Highway 1 at Karapiro, south of Cambridge is set to close

The stretch between Karapiro Road and State Highway 1 and 29 at Piarere will shut at midnight tonight, through until midnight Thursday.

NZTA says they'll be carrying out maintenance and repair work during the closure.

It says the stretch of road will close up to four times this year.

A number of detours are in place - mainly through State Highway 26 and 27.
