A clear message to people participating in illegal and disruptive road user activity in Wellington

A clear message to people participating in illegal and disruptive road user activity in Wellington

Operation Kereru saw three licences suspended, 32 infringements issued, three vehicles impounded, and three drivers found with excess alcohol levels within the Hutt Valley area on Saturday night.

Senior Sergeant Samuel Avison, says officers' high visibility approach meant groups were intercepted before they could set up in one location.

He says they remain ready to disrupt and stop drivers across the district.
