A fresh push for sustainable funding in the pharmacy sector

A fresh push for sustainable funding in the pharmacy sector

It headlines the Pharmaceutical Society's eight key areas of focus for the year -- as it declares the sector is in crisis.

President Michael Hammond says inadequate funding is impacting on the quality and safety of the care they're able to provide.

He says if they had more funding they'd be able to do more, which would help take the pressure off other areas - such as general practice and primary care.
