The Breakers intend to finish their season strong amid a tough stretch in the Australian NBL basketball competition

They remain ninth on the ladder after a 93-87 loss to Brisbane in Christchurch - their 14th defeat in their last 16 games.

Forward Max Darling isn't willing to give up on the campaign, despite the playoffs being out of reach.

The Breakers are back in action tomorrow night on the road against the Adelaide 36ers.
