Zoi Sadowski-Synnott has made history by landing the world's first triple cork in a women's slopestyle competition on her way to victory at the Aspen X Games

The win was the Kiwi's sixth X Games gold and eleventh medal overall.

The 23-year-old says she was proud of her efforts after a challenging past 12 months on the sidelines.

Compatriot Luca Harrington also picked up a gold medal in the men's ski slopestyle.
