A second man's been arrested in connection to a shooting outside Auckland's Middlemore Hospital this month

A second man's been arrested in connection to a shooting outside Auckland's Middlemore Hospital this month

A firearm was allegedly fired at the hospital from a vehicle on January 4 - with no injuries - after an earlier altercation in the car park.

Detective Inspector Shaun Vickers says a 23-year-old man was arrested last week after a search in Manurewa, and is reappearing in Manukau District Court today.

A 34-year-old man was also arrested last week.
