Crusaders assistant Brad Mooar insists a tidy up of the rules around the kick-chase will benefit Super Rugby

Crusaders assistant Brad Mooar insists a tidy up of the rules around the kick-chase will benefit Super Rugby

The world governing body began a crackdown on escorts and blockers during last year's northern hemisphere tests, meaning a retreating player can't change their running line without getting penalised.

Mooar says rugby is built on each aspect of the sport being a fair contest, and this is no different.

The Crusaders "kick-off" the season tonight against the Hurricanes in Christchurch.
