    A new renal centre in the central North Island is expected to help hundreds of patients


    The Waikato Regional Renal Centre has been opened today, by Health Minister Simeon Brown.

    It will provide dialysis, kidney transplants and outpatient care, at a single site.

    The facility is 70 percent larger than the previous one, and has been set up for future growth.
