Golfer Danny Lee will return to the New Zealand Open for the first time as a professional

The 34-year-old's currently on the LIV circuit as part of the Iron Heads team.

The tournament tees off on February 27 at Millbrook.

Meanwhile, Joaquin Niemann has gone some distance towards canonised status in Australia after winning the latest LIV event in Adelaide.

He and his Torque team coiffed mullets for the tournament and he glugged a shoey with relish after securing the victory.
