Novak Djokovic has been knocked out in his first match at the Indian Wells Tennis Masters

Novak Djokovic has been knocked out in his first match at the Indian Wells Tennis Masters

The former world number one, in search of his 100th career singles title, has lost in three sets to Dutchman Botic van der Zandschulp 6-2, 3-6, 6-1 in the second round after a first-round bye.

Djokovic hasn't won a match since the quarter-finals of the Australian Open in January - withdrawing injured from the semis in Melbourne before losing first up at an event in Doha last month.
