The 28-year-old singer recently announced her engagement to the NFL star, and Ciara has now congratulated the loved-up couple on their news via a post on social media

In response to the engagement announcement, Ciara - who is married to NFL star Russell Wilson - wrote on TikTok: "@Russell Wilson and I knew when we [introduced] y'all 3yrs ago ..love was truly in the air! Now y'all gon' be booed up for forever!! (sic)"

Russell, 36 - who plays alongside DK at the Pittsburgh Steelers - has also offered his congratulations to the celebrity couple.

The sports star said: "This was the best news!we love y'all so much! (sic)"

DK, 27, recently revealed that he proposed to Normani in front of both of their families.

The NFL player - who joined the Pittsburgh Steelers earlier this month - said: "My family and her family was in Houston.

"It was my sister's spring break and [I] just thought about getting the whole family together for a big kumbaya and joining our families with a ring."

Meanwhile, Normani confirmed her relationship with DK on Instagram in July 2023, and the pop star later revealed that they had been introduced to each other by Ciara and Russell.

The 'Motivation' hitmaker - who first found fame as a member of Fifth Harmony, the chart-topping girl group - acknowledged that she has a lot of respect for Ciara and Russell.

She told Apple Music: "We actually met through Ciara and Russ. If you could trust a couple [to set you up], that would be the couple."
