Ariana Grande wants to try a battered Mars bar

The 31-year-old singer was not familiar with the concept of the deep-fried chocolate bar but once she had heard about it, admitted that she would like to sample one next time she is in Scotland on tour

She told The Sunday Mail newspaper: "When I am on tour, it can some- times just be airport, hotel, venue and repeat but when I was in Glasgow, it was really cool as I got a little time to hang out.

"I got time to walk around the city a bit, grab some food, and I met some genuinely awesome people.

"There are no plans to tour in 2025 but I am focussing on other projects and I never know where that will take me.

"To spend time in Scotland again would be incredible.

"I really try to eat as healthily as I can but when I am working so hard, it is important that I have as much energy as I possibly can. I have never heard of a deep-fried Mars bar before, I didn't even know it was a thing.

"Next time I am in Scotland, I am going to have to have a bite, just to say I have tried it."

The 'Wicked' star did recall that last time she was in the Scottish city, there was a fire alarm that went off in her hotel, which meant she had to evacuate in the middle of the night which wasn't ideal amid what was such a busy time for her.

She said: "A fire alarm went off in the middle of the night and I had to evacuate my hotel room.

"It isn't what you need when you are doing a busy tour but everybody at the hotel was so kind to me during my stay."
