A man's appearing in court today -- following an aggravated burglary in Wellington's Miramar early last week

Police were called to a home on Darlington Road at 2am last Monday where an intruder allegedly injured four people before fleeing.

Shortly after police found 63-year-old Abdul Nabizadah nearby with critical injuries - he died the next day in hospital.

Police are still not sure - if it's connected to the alleged burglary.

A 28-year-old was arrested yesterday on burglary and assault charges and will appear in Wellington District Court today.

Police say they're still looking for witnesses, especially one jogger wearing a blue shirt who was spotted near the scene at around 1.30am.
