Crusaders coach Rob Penney's endorsed Super Rugby's new six-team play-off format which will be used for the first time this weekend

The three winners of the qualifying finals will advance to a knock-out round next week, as well as the highest-ranked loser.

The Crusaders will host a semi-final if they beat the Reds tomorrow in Christchurch.

Their season will be over if they're beaten, and the Chiefs lose to the Blues.
