The most stolen cars in the country have been revealed

The most stolen cars in the country have been revealed

AMI Insurance received more than nine-thousand vehicle theft and attempted theft claims last year.

It says the top four most stolen car models were the same as 2024 - the Toyota Aqua followed by the Toyota Corolla, Nissan Tiida , and Mazda Demio.

Toyota Chief Strategic Officer Andrew Davis says they bring in the most cars, with a lot of second hand imports.

He says the security put in those cars are 10 years older than what's in newer models.
