    A 43-year-old man has appeared in court charged with firearms offences - as a Police hunt continues for those responsible for a shooting in Onehunga a month ago


    Auckland Police say a person was shot in the abdomen through a house door and critically wounded - fired by people from a car that pulled into an Arthur Street driveway on January 16.

    Police searched a Mangere property and charged a man with unlawful possession of a firearm and ammunition.

    He appeared in the Auckland District Court over the weekend.
