    Russia claims Ukraine tried to attack Putin residence in Novgorod with long-range drones
     30 December 2025
    Russian state media reported the claims from foreign minister Sergei Lavrov, who said the country's negotiating position on achieving peace in Ukraine would change as a result of the attack.
