A ridge of high pressure builds to the southeast of the South Island from later on Tuesday. The broad low pressure system over the Tasman Sea slowly moves southwards, as a ridge southeast of New Zealand moves slowly east. East to northeast flow covers much of the country. Forecast issued at 1103hrs Monday 17-Jun-2024 Valid to 1 pm Monday for Inshore waters from Great Mercury Island to Mayor Island to Matakana Island.
