    *GALE WARNING IN FORCE*

    Monday : Southwest 35 knots, but 20 knots west of Puysegur Point, easing to 20 knots everywhere late morning.
    Becoming westerly 15 knots but 25 knots south of Puysegur Point in the evening.
    Very rough sea in the east, easing.
    Long period southwest swell rising to 5 metres for a time.
    Poor visibility in rain, clearing in the morning.

    Outlook following 3 days:
    Tuesday: Westerly 15 knots but 25 knots south of Puysegur Point.
    Sea rough in the south.
    Heavy southwest swell easing late.
    Wednesday: Becoming southeast 35 knots early, then easing to southerly 25 knots later.
    Sea becoming very rough for a time.
    Southwest swell becoming heavy.
    Thursday: Becoming southerly 20 knots but westerly 25 knots south of Puysegur Point later.
    Sea becoming rough in the south.
    Heavy southwest swell.
