A new study has found one in five patients who survive Covid-19 develop a psychiatric disorder within 90 days

The study, published in The Lancet Psychiatry journal today, analysed medical records of 69 million people in the United States from the first seven months of the year.
62 thousand Covid-19 cases were included, and the study found that 18 percent of survivors developed a disorder such as depression or anxiety within 90 days.
The researchers say this the figures show they were twice as likely to ended up with a mental health illness than those diagnosed with other illnesses during this period.
