Waikato to Taranaki, including Bay of Plenty and the central high country
Mostly fine, but isolated showers developing about the central high country this afternoon, spreading elsewhere tomorrow.
Whanganui to Wellington
Mainly fine. Cloud increasing tonight, with isolated showers developing from Kapiti to northern Wellington, then clearing by tomorrow afternoon.
Gisborne to Wairarapa
Mostly fine.
Nelson, Marlborough
Fine today. Scattered rain developing tomorrow, but dry for the Kaikoura Coast.
Buller to Fiordland
Partly cloudy today. A few showers about Fiordland, spreading elsewhere overnight. Rain with heavy falls, gradually spreading north tomorrow, turning to showers from South Westland southwards later.
Canterbury, Otago, Southland
Fine today. Rain developing from the south tomorrow, easing to isolated showers in Southland and Otago later.
