    Raukumara to Ruahine Forest Parks, including Tongariro National Park
    Isolated showers, becoming widespread and heavy from tomorrow afternoon with possible thunderstorms.

    Te Papa-Kura-o-Taranaki
    A few showers, possibly heavy tomorrow morning and afternoon, then clearing.

    Tararua Forest Park
    Rain, easing to isolated showers tomorrow afternoon, then clearing.

    WINDS
    Northwesterlies, gale in the south, turning southeasterly tomorrow morning or afternoon.

    FREEZING LEVEL
    3000 metres.

    North of Arthur's Pass
    Showers, possibly heavy this evening and again from Friday afternoon.

    Southern Alps from Arthur's Pass to Mt Aspiring
    Rain, easing to a few showers from the south this evening, then clearing to fine tomorrow evening.

    Mt Aspiring to Fiordland
    Some cloud about the tops, and a few showers in the far south Friday morning.

    WINDS
    Southeasterlies, dying out tomorrow.

    FREEZING LEVEL
    3000 metres sloping to 1400 metres in the south.
