Rain developing around the Richmond Range this afternoon, spreading to the Kaikoura ranges by tomorrow morning. Kahurangi and Nelson Lakes Periods of rain, becoming persistent and possibly heavy this evening. Arthur's Pass National Park to Aoraki/Mt Cook National Park Rain becoming persistent this afternoon, heavy at times, then gradually easing after midday tomorrow. Mt Aspiring and Fiordland National Parks Rain, heavy at times with possible thunderstorms from this evening, then easing by tomorrow morning.
