    Raukumara To Kaweka Forest Parks
    Fine apart from areas of cloud in the west, mainly morning and night.

    Egmont and Tongariro National Parks
    Cloudy periods, with the odd light shower about Mount Taranaki.

    Ruahine and Tararua Forest Parks
    Partly cloudy today. A few light showers tomorrow, mainly morning and evening.

    Winds
    Southwesterlies.

    FREEZING LEVEL
    Above 3000 metres.


    south island



    Fiordland National Park
    Cloudy periods. Isolated showers about the Fiords, becoming more frequent later
    tomorrow.

    Remaining areas
    Fine weather.

    Winds
    Southwesterlies, strong or gale in exposed places south of Mount Cook.

    FREEZING LEVEL
    3200 metres in the north, sloping to 1600 metres in the far south. Rising to
    2600 metres in the south this evening.
