    Strong westerlies, changing gale southerly in the south this evening, then easing tomorrow morning

    About 3000 metres, sloping to 2400 metres south of the Volcanoes, rising back above 3000 metres tomorrow.

    Mainly fine in the west. Rain the east, with heavy falls and snow possible to 1400 metres, easing in the evening and clearing to fine by tomorrow morning.

    Strong to gale southerlies spreading north, easing this evening.
