Gisborne and Hawke's Bay
Partly cloudy. A few showers, mainly about the ranges.
Manawatu to Wellington, also Wairarapa, Marlborough and Nelson
Cloudy periods and the odd shower.
Canterbury and the Kaikoura Coast
Occasional rain, easing this evening.
Buller to Fiordland
Scattered rain about Buller and Fiordland, and partly cloudy elsewhere with the chance of a shower.
