    Warnings of delays on Wellington's transmission Gully following a two-vehicle crash

    27 August 2025
    Police were called to the crash near Whitby just before 3:30, and one motorist has been airlifted to hospital with critical injuries.

    All northbound lanes from Waitangirua Link Road are closed and southbound traffic is reduced to one lane.
