The Finance Minister's getting face-to-face with Fonterra's boss tonight, over rising dairy prices

The Finance Minister's getting face-to-face with Fonterra's boss tonight, over rising dairy prices

    22 July 2025

Nicola Willis says she'll ask Miles Hurrell about the dairy farming giant's margins on dairy products, at Kiwi checkouts.

Inflation has hit 2.7 percent, with big food increases led by massive hikes in some dairy.

Willis says it's appropriate for everyone to look at potential solutions for the high cost of living.

She says Kiwis feel the cost of living is too high, and the price of butter is a symptom.
