A win for some private sector workers while the public sector gets rocked

The Government announced Fair Pay Agreements today, which aim to improve wages and encourage businesses to invest in training.
Meanwhile, for the next three years, public sector workers earning more than 60 thousand dollars will only get a pay rise under special circumstances.
Minister for Workplace Relations and Safety Michael Wood says all those decisions are about helping those on the lowest incomes.
He says they want to build a system, through fair pay agreements, where those on the bottom of the heap get a much fairer slice of the cake.
